Custom Installation

Just want to play with the system, not learn it all from scratch? We can install everything for you, from hiding cables, to the final sound and picture calibration. All you do is enjoy the system and show it off to your friends. Just let us know what you are trying to achieve, and we can arrange a site visit. We will work out some system options tailor-made for your home.

What We Do

Design and consultation visit to your home or premises. (see below, fully credited against completed job invoice). We visit your site and assess the correct designs to fit within your given budget. We guide you through equipment selection and build a system based on your needs. We produce a quotation detailing both equipment and how it will function. We discuss the quotation with you and answer your questions, so you can understand what the system will and won't achieve. Subsequent minor equipment alterations are accepted as the design / build process continues.

Installation of hi-fi system. We will employ the correct and neatest use of all cabling and ensure the correct placement of electronics and speakers within the room, and within the furniture. We perform a system test and evaluation and finally provide you with advice about any future upgrades.

Installation of home cinema system. (A basic site survey will often be required, if the best placement is to be achieved.) We will employ the correct and neatest use of all cabling and ensure the correct placement of electronics and speakers within the room and within the furniture. We calibrate the audio system and video system and perform a system test and evaluation. Finally we will provide you with advice about any future upgrades. With an a/v system, we also look at system control and advise you as to any upgrade path available.

System service. We undertake a thorough inspection of your system’s performance, clean the equipment and connections and adjust performance-related settings as required. We then re-check system performance and advise you of any faults found*. Finally we provide you with advice about any future upgrades.

System check. We will visit your home and evaluate your system’s performance. We can reconfigure the system, settings and wiring to achieve the best sound and vision. In the case of more substantial changes, we will advise you of what can be done, and agree a schedule of how to proceed.

Pricing

Consultation visit and system design for a dedicated Home Theatre or Music Room.

We visit your home and discuss the ideas you have and the proposed location. The design process may involve your chosen interior designer, or our recommendation of specialist theatre designer. We will advise and design acoustic room properties and treatments, providing you with detailed schematics and/or room visualisations as required.

Consultation visit and system design for a whole home, multi-room system.(includes Home Cinema design, as needed).

We visit your home and evaluate the areas you wish to have music, video and control installed. We discuss your ideas and arrive at a design brief together. From the initial meeting, we produce a system design and quotation and then discuss the details with you. On acceptance of a proposal, schedules, schematics etc. can be designed and agreed.

Consultation visit and system design for a larger home cinema system only.

Specifications can include large flat-panel displays and projection options. Best acoustic practices are employed with regard to equipment used and it's placement. Evaluation of control needs are undertaken and appropriate equipment recommended, with a guide to overall programming costs. Expected budgets would be £3500 approximate minimum.

Consultation visit and system design for a surround sound system based in the living room.

This service is intended for those who wish to make an informed purchase of a surround system, probably involving a flat-panel television, a/v receiver and a set of cinema speakers. Expected budgets would be £1000.00 - £5000.00 approx.
